Rescue Pole
A rescue pole is a tool used to rescue and retrieve individuals from water or other hazardous situations. It consists of a long pole made of lightweight, durable material such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, or aluminum. The pole may extend up to several meters in length and is equipped with various attachments that allow rescuers to reach and grab a person from a distance.
To use a rescue pole, the rescuer first assesses the situation and determines the best approach for the rescue. Once the individual in need has been located, the pole is extended to an appropriate length and the attachment at the end is maneuvered to reach the person. The attachment could be a hook, a circular loop, or a net, depending on the situation.
The rescuer then carefully maneuvers the attachment to grab the individual, making sure to avoid any further harm or injury. The individual is then pulled towards the rescuer and brought to safety.
It is important to note that rescue poles should only be used by trained professionals who have been trained on their proper use and handling to ensure both the rescuer and the individual in need are kept safe.
